Your itinerary.
Day 01: Haridwar – Guptkashi / Sitapur
Your spiritual journey to the sacred Kedarnath Dham begins from Haridwar in the early morning. After meeting the group and completing the departure formalities, drive towards the beautiful Garhwal Himalayas. The route takes you through the scenic mountain roads along the holy Ganga and Alaknanda Rivers, passing through Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag and other picturesque Himalayan towns. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you gradually enter the mountains, with breathtaking views of valleys, rivers and surrounding peaks. Continue towards Guptkashi or Sitapur, located close to Sonprayag, the gateway for the Kedarnath trek. On arrival, check in to your hotel/camp, freshen up and relax. You may spend the evening preparing for the next day's early-morning journey to Kedarnath. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
Day 02: Guptkashi / Sitapur – Sonprayag – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
After an early breakfast, proceed towards Sonprayag and then continue to Gaurikund, the traditional starting point of the Kedarnath trek. From Gaurikund, begin your approximately 16–18 km trek towards the sacred Kedarnath Dham, depending on the current route and local arrangements. The trek takes you through spectacular Himalayan scenery, flowing streams, waterfalls and mountain landscapes. Travellers may also opt for locally available pony/palki services or other permitted transport options, subject to availability and applicable charges. On reaching Kedarnath, check in to your accommodation and take some time to rest. Later, proceed for darshan at the revered Kedarnath Temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the evening in the peaceful spiritual atmosphere of the temple town and prepare for the early morning darshan the following day. Dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Day 03: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi / Sitapur
Wake up early in the morning and proceed for the sacred morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple, subject to temple timings and crowd conditions. After darshan, return to your accommodation, have breakfast and prepare for the return journey. Begin your descent from Kedarnath towards Gaurikund, enjoying the magnificent Himalayan scenery along the way. The downhill trek can still be physically demanding, so travellers should maintain a comfortable pace and take adequate rest and hydration breaks. On reaching Gaurikund, meet your vehicle and continue the drive towards Guptkashi or Sitapur. After reaching the hotel, check in and relax after the long trek. Enjoy dinner and spend a comfortable evening recalling the spiritual experience of Kedarnath Dham. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
Day 04: Guptkashi / Sitapur – Rishikesh / Haridwar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey towards Haridwar. Drive through the spectacular Garhwal Himalayan landscape, following the river valleys and winding mountain roads. En route, pass through Rudraprayag and Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi Rivers meet to form the holy River Ganga. Depending on the available time and road conditions, you may stop at suitable viewpoints and important places along the route. Continue towards Rishikesh and then Haridwar, enjoying the changing scenery as you descend from the mountains into the plains. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may visit Har Ki Pauri and experience the peaceful atmosphere of the holy Ganga, subject to your arrival time. Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.
Day 05: Haridwar – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and conclude your memorable Kedarnath 4 Nights / 5 Days Yatra from Haridwar. Depending on your onward travel schedule, you may spend some time exploring Haridwar or visiting the sacred ghats before departure. The journey comes to an end with wonderful memories of the Himalayan mountains, the holy Ganga, the challenging Kedarnath trek and the divine darshan at one of India's most revered Shiva temples. Tour ends at Haridwar with blessings and unforgettable memories of the Kedarnath Yatra.
