Day 01: Cochin – Munnar
Your beautiful Kerala journey begins with your arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station, where you will meet our representative and proceed towards the picturesque hill station of Munnar. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes of Kerala, with lush green plantations, spice gardens, forests, waterfalls and winding mountain roads offering beautiful views throughout the journey. En route, you can enjoy a stop at Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, subject to time and weather conditions. As you gradually climb towards Munnar, the landscape changes into beautiful tea-covered hills and misty mountains. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the cool climate and peaceful surroundings of Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, one of Kerala’s most popular hill destinations. Begin your day by exploring the beautiful tea plantations and scenic mountain landscapes. Visit Mattupetty Dam, surrounded by lush green hills, followed by Echo Point, famous for its natural echo phenomenon and beautiful views of the surrounding lake and mountains. Continue towards Kundala Lake, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and optional boating, subject to availability. You may also visit a tea museum to learn about the history and production of Munnar’s famous tea, subject to opening hours. Throughout the day, enjoy the fresh mountain air, panoramic views and beautiful landscapes that make Munnar a memorable destination. In the evening, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening relaxing or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your scenic journey towards Thekkady, a beautiful destination known for its forests, wildlife and spice plantations. The drive takes you through the lush green landscapes of the Western Ghats, with winding roads and spectacular views of the surrounding hills. On arrival in Thekkady, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, explore the local spice market and discover the aromas of Kerala’s famous spices such as cardamom, pepper and cinnamon. Depending on availability and your interest, you can also enjoy optional activities such as a Periyar Lake boat ride, where you may get an opportunity to experience the beautiful forest surroundings and observe wildlife from the water. Day 04: Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards Alleppey, one of Kerala’s most famous destinations and popularly known for its peaceful backwaters. Enjoy the scenic drive through the lush countryside, coconut plantations and traditional villages of Kerala. On arrival in Alleppey, check in to your hotel or resort and spend the day enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the backwaters. You may also choose an optional houseboat cruise, subject to availability, to experience Kerala’s unique waterways while travelling through peaceful canals, paddy fields, coconut groves and traditional villages. The backwater experience provides an opportunity to enjoy the slower pace of Kerala life and the natural beauty of the region. In the evening, relax by the water and enjoy a peaceful sunset before returning to your accommodation. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 05: Alleppey – Cochin Departure
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey towards Cochin, the final destination of your Kerala holiday. Depending on your departure schedule, you can enjoy some local sightseeing in Cochin, including Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and the historic streets of the area, subject to available time. Explore the unique blend of Portuguese, Dutch, British and Indian influences that have shaped the character of this historic coastal city. Later, proceed to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
