Day 01: Delhi / Chandigarh – Dharamshala
Begin your Himachal holiday with an early morning departure from Delhi or Chandigarh towards Dharamshala. Enjoy the scenic journey through the plains and gradually enter the beautiful Himalayan landscape of Himachal Pradesh. The route offers picturesque views of green valleys, rivers, villages and mountain ranges. On arrival in Dharamshala, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, you can explore the local market or enjoy a peaceful walk around the hotel. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 02: Dharamshala – McLeod Ganj – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour covering the beautiful attractions of Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj. Visit Dal Lake, St. John in the Wilderness Church, Naddi View Point, Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall. Later, explore McLeod Ganj, famous for its Tibetan culture, monasteries, cafés and colourful markets. Spend some time shopping for local handicrafts and souvenirs while enjoying spectacular views of the Dhauladhar mountains. Return to the hotel in the evening and relax. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Day 03: Dharamshala – Dalhousie
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your scenic drive towards Dalhousie, one of Himachal Pradesh’s most charming hill stations. Enjoy the beautiful mountain roads, lush green valleys and peaceful surroundings throughout the journey. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, explore Gandhi Chowk, Mall Road and St. John’s Church, enjoying the colonial charm and pleasant atmosphere of Dalhousie. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local market or enjoying a relaxing walk through the hill town. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 04: Dalhousie – Khajjiar Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to the beautiful Khajjiar, surrounded by dense deodar forests and magnificent Himalayan landscapes. Spend time at the famous Khajjiar meadow, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and capture beautiful photographs. Visit Khajji Nag Temple and, subject to road and local conditions, explore the surrounding areas. Later, return towards Dalhousie and enjoy the scenic mountain drive. The evening is free for shopping, relaxing at the hotel or exploring Mall Road. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.
Day 05: Dalhousie – Delhi / Chandigarh Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey towards Delhi or Chandigarh. Enjoy the final views of the beautiful Himachal mountains as you travel through the scenic valleys. Depending on your schedule, you may stop at suitable places for refreshments and photographs along the way.
